On Wednesday April 28th Victor A Prout peacefully passed away at the age of 67. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather to his blended family of two sons Victor Thompson and Daniel Devillez and four grandchildren Zayah 20, Devin 16, Cameron 9 and Shayla 2. He is survived by his Mother Laura Prout and his brothers Robert Prout, David Prout and Quinton Prout. He is also survived by his wife of 30 years Kelly Prout.

Victor loved music and was blessed with a gentle and tranquil singing voice. He spoke often of cherished memories of his days with Precision and Starchild. He lovingly spoke of his childhood and his time spent on Pratt Street. No one escaped his kindness or contagious smile. He had a genuine love for people and had a talent to find lost souls and set out to brighten their day. He loved his days on the golf course with his good friends. He loved simple days with his family picking blueberries and telling stories. The shining stars in his universe were his grandchildren and his family.

Victor was born in Rhode Island but spent the last 32 years in Florida. He loved his job and friends in Florida but never forgot his magical and blessed upbringing in Rhode Island. His memory will live on in all who was touched by his beautiful soul.
A Celebration of his life will be held Saturday, May 15, 2021 from 2pm until 5pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave, Lincoln. Burial private.
